My name is Louise Riedl and I am a fully qualified BACP registered counsellor. I work with over 18s, offering in-person sessions just outside Maidstone in Kent or online from the comfort of your home from anywhere in the UK.
I offer professional, down-to-earth counselling for adults navigating life's challenges. Whether you're facing something big or feeling stuck in the everyday, I'm here to listen - without judgment, at your pace and with warmth, empathy and care. As a person-centred counsellor, I believe in your innate knowledge of yourself, and together we can embark on a journey towards emotional well-being. I customise my counselling sessions to suit your individual needs, providing both short-term and long-term support on a weekly or fortnightly basis.

Explore Your Full Potential: Understand the Benefits of Counselling
Many individuals seek counselling to manage a range of emotions and experiences that may feel overwhelming. You could be experiencing anxiety, which often appears as persistent worry or restlessness, making it difficult to concentrate on daily tasks. Alternatively, you might be dealing with prolonged feelings of sadness or depression that can diminish your motivation and enjoyment of life. In such cases, engaging with a qualified professional can offer the essential support needed to navigate these complex emotions.
Additionally, you may be facing relationship challenges, whether they involve family members, friends, or partners. These issues can lead to feelings of isolation or frustration, and discussing them in a safe, supportive environment can promote understanding and healing. Life transitions, such as relocating or changing careers, often generate a mix of excitement and uncertainty, potentially leading to confusion regarding your identity or future aspirations.
Counselling can assist you in processing these emotions, allowing you to find a clearer path forward and fostering personal growth and resilience. Counselling offers a secure and non-judgemental setting for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.
