About Louise

I am a fully qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), adhering strictly to their ethical framework. My experience includes working with mental health and bereavement charities as well as in various healthcare settings.

I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, possess an enhanced DBS check, and stay updated with current safeguarding and GDPR training. Additionally, I am dedicated to continuous professional development (CPD).

Before transitioning into counselling, I gained valuable experience in recruitment, where I acquired insights into various working environments including human resources, social care and finance. And I have a BSc (Hons) in Russian & Law. My diverse background complements my counselling practice, enhancing my empathy and understanding and allowing me to provide informed and considerate support to my clients.

I am deeply committed to the fields of mental health and wellbeing and firmly believe that our physical health and happiness are deeply intertwined with our mental state. I wholeheartedly believe that the unique and safe space that counselling provides is invaluable. It’s a place where we can openly discuss our thoughts and feelings, helping us gain a better understanding of ourselves. Ultimately, this enhances our interactions with others, making life just a bit more manageable. I'm here for you, and I look forward to walking this journey together!
